Day 1: |
Pick-up in Taipei or Taichung at 8 AM and enroute to Taroko Gorge through the new Snow Mountain tunnel and around the beautiful coastal route carved out by human hands.
Frequent stops in the Gorge and lunch at Grand Formosa Taroko Gorge. Check-in at Hua Tung Hotel Hualien (Dinner at French Restaurant for your own account/or any other restaurant). After dinner tour of the Jade and Marble Market in Hualien. |
Day 2 : |
B/fast at Hua Tung Hotel. Enroute ( Eastern Rift Valley or Coastal road – up to you; frequent stops)to Taitung ( Fugang Harbor ) and then board ferry for Green Island.

Snorkeling/glass bottom boat× 1 w/ complete equipment(life vest, diving mask, booties, guide and insurance )

Day 3: |
Depart Green Island in afternoon, visit Museum of natural History and Aboriginal arts and craft private shop; depart for Kenting over the nr 9 scenic mountain pass and nr 21 coastal route. Check-in at Red Garden Bali style resort, Kenting. Dinner at Cuchina’s Italian Restaurant( for own account/or any other). |
Day 4: |
B/fast ( English style) – free time; and then drive through Kenting National Park and visit Aquarium with whale sharks!!
Check-in Wen Pin Hotel (close to Love River) Kaohsiung. River cruise and Harbor Waterfront visit. Dinner at Waterfront or TGI Friday’s or any other –for own account). |
Day 5: |
B/fast at Hotel and then drive to Ali Shan – free time in Mountain Forest and visitor center. Scenic drive over the mountain ( no other tour does this!) and take the back-oute to Sun Moon Lake (Visit old town market street, Wen Wu Temple and more) then check-in at hotel and spa on Sun Moon Lake. |
Day 6: |
B/fast at hotel and then drive to Puli (most central part of Taiwan). Visit famous Chung Tai monastery ( unbelievable in size and artifacts!) and flower show (if in season). http://www.greenislandadventures.com/SunMoon.htm

Day 7: |
B/fast at hotel , visit Confucius Temple then enroute to Sanyi (woodcarving village) and then Inge ( Ceramics village).
Drop-off at hotel or airport.
Throughout the tour there will always be refreshments in the vehicle and frequent stops at western restroom facilities and interesting sites will be made.
