Green Island Adventures

Alison and I would like to let you know just how much we enjoyed the tour with you last week. It covered a most beautiful part of a very lovely island and was exceptionally well constructed. We felt that we had an interesting and informative trip which covered a great deal of ground but in a very relaxed and entertaining way.

We both thought that we learned a great deal but never felt pressed and we were especially grateful for the way you were able to adapt to changing circumstances ( often of our creation) without ever losing the original objectives of our holiday. In particular we would like to say just how good the hotels that you selected were. Last year we did our own bookings with nothing like the success you achieved for us.

We have no hesitation in recommending you unreservedly to anyone who wants an interesting and relaxing trip over some gorgeous countryside in a much under-rated country.

Can't thank you enough for last week's tours. I had a fantastic time and learned a lot about Taiwan that I'm sure I wouldn't have done on my own (sorry for all the questions, am now bothering Google instead...). As a woman travelling alone, it was great to be with someone who knows their way around, and that gave me the confidence to be more independent later in the week in Hualien and when I got back to the north. Now I'm back home again, I'm particularly pleased with my shoe collection from Lugang.

Thanks for your excellent trip all around the island. I am sure we will be back, maybe in Nov. to go to Green Island for snorkelling and more hot springs.

Eddie was very welcoming, hospitable, and pleasant company. He demonstrated a flexible approach and tailored the tour to our interests and capabilities. We didn't feel rushed at all. He had great knowledge of all the places he took us to and about Taiwan generally.

The hotel had beautiful views and provided comfortable accomodation. All in all it was a wonderful trip with lots of places that we were interested in, highlights included the mountains, the temples, and of course the Sun-Moon-Lake. As an added bonus we had perfect weather.

It was a fabulous way to see the country with our own personal tour-guide.

The trip was just fabulous. You got us started perfectly. The hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly: say thank you again for us to Jack and Ms Lee and staff.

The Good Friends Dive shop was cool; we got 3 days of gear and went on our own. The harbor you recommended was great; snorkeling was so fine and the scenery starts right outside that little marina. Altho we didn't actually see an octopus, it still felt like an octopus's garden. Totally mesmerizing - so many varieties of coral and fish we were in awe.

Cruising the island on the scooter was a blast. Food at the Fisherman's was delicious. And of course the hot springs - serene and perfect. The general lack of development is so appreciated - the natural beauty of Green Island is a well of refreshment.

Hi Eddie,

Thanks so much for everything. Despite the typhoon and the sudden change of plans we had a great time! If we ever hear any expats in Korea mention Taiwan plans we'll definitely recommend your website.

I've attached the photos that turned out the best. I hope that you can use them on your website or in pamphlets etc. I don't have a website and I like to keep my email private so there's no need to post my name or anything like that. The images are yours to use! I'll send another email or two with more images.

Also, if you ever decide to visit Korea, give us a shout. We'd love to show you around, recommend some things and take you out to dinner.
